On June 14, the Village will be alive with the sound of music…
The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is excitedly getting ready for Symphony at the Village. It’s an outdoor evening concert celebrating culture, history and musical favourites. For the first time, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra will be performing at Village, conducted by William Eddins, playing a selection of classical Ukrainian concert music in full orchestral splendor. Plus, a touch of Hollywood, a dollop of Disney, a dash of Gordon Lightfoot and a hint of Ian Tyson, to round out the program.
Guest performers Trembita will kick off the evening, setting the stage for a musical journey that weaves the beauty of symphonic music into the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture and heritage.
