Are you a metal enthusiast? Or perhaps an art connoisseur? Well, imagine the wonders that can happen when you combine the two at the upcoming Metal Art Show and Sale at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum on Sept.17 and 18.
The Metal Art Show and Sale is a massive display and sale of one-of-a-kind metal art creations featuring custom metal jewelers, chainmaille artists, knife makers, sculptors and blacksmiths from across Western Canada. It is the ultimate celebration of metal art that confirms “custom is classic”!
Along with seeing these unique creations first-hand, you can also meet the creative minds behind the pieces. More than 45 artists will be at the museum to display and sell their works of art.
In addition, visitors can also explore the museum’s feature exhibition “Stan Reynolds: the Original Canadian Picker”, check out the temporary display, “Honda Motorcycles of the ‘50s & ‘60s!” and enjoy lunch in Cruisers Café, or find the perfect gift for an automotive, aviation or machine enthusiast in the Museum Store.
Details: The Metal Art Show and Sale runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Regular admission rates apply, and parking is free.
