The third annual Festival of Lights event will begin on Monday, Nov.21 at the Remington Carriage Museum from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The museum is lit with thousands of lights both inside and out, and the big tree is up and ready to be brightened by Santa and his helpers on the eve of Nov 21. More lights, more activities, and more fun are planned for this year’s event.
Santa will light the big tree after he makes his grand appearance in a sleigh. A children’s choir will perform, carol’s will be sung, and Mrs. Claus will be dishing up some breakfast for supper complete with strawberries, chocolate, and whipped cream!
Children’s activities include face painting, cookie decorating and Christmas movies in the theater. And of course parents should come equipped with their camera to get photos taken of kids with Santa in a beautiful sleigh.
There will also be a beautiful nativity walk in the sunroom featuring sets of nativities that show the many beautiful works of Christmas art people have collected over the years.
This free event is brought to you by The Cardston Festival of Lights and the Remington Carriage Museum. It has become one of the most important local Christmas traditions in Cardston and participants can visit the museum galleries for free during this event.
Make sure you mark this event on your calendar and come be a part of the festival that lights up the holiday season!
